“Bi” is the creator of the Investing For Doctors (IFD) online community, a movement to improve financial literacy and knowledge to clinicians through the concept of free open access education. The IFD group has over 26,000 verified medical and dental practitioners in Australia where topics on investing and money matters are discussed. Educational content is targeted specifically at doctors to assist them on their journey through life and their career.

Combining his experience as an emergency clinician and operating a regional multispecialist clinic, Bi understands the lived experiences of doctors across many different stages of life and subspecialties.

Finally, Bi has a passion for basic science research with over a decade of hands-on experience in molecular biology, virology and mouse models of disease. He is a well published neuroscientist with over 3,500 citations, publishing in top-tier journals such as Science, Cell, PNAS, Brain and Nature Communications and in his spare time he is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Dementia Research Centre in Macquarie University and a Chief Investigator on a number of research grants.

With over 20 years of experience in financial services, Alissa is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer outcomes and experiences, emphasizing genuine care and connection with clients. Alissa brings her years two decades of experience to the IFD group aiming to help clinicians maximise their financial outcomes.

Elouise Dooley

Elouise Dooley is the co-founder and director of Two Birds One Loan. She has an astute eye for detail, an unusual love of spreadsheets, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines. Elouise is fiercely passionate about customer experience and delivering results, aiming to inspire women, particularly mothers, to trust their abilities and pursue their financial goals.

Jessica Brady is a financial adviser who wishes to improve access to financial advice. She co-founded Ladies Talk Money, a financial literacy platform and launched The Greenhouse, a financial education program. She also hosts the podcast Financially Fierce. Recognised among Australia’s top advisers, she regularly contributes to leading publications such as Australian Financial Review, Smart Property Investor, and Women’s Agenda.

 

Roger Wheelahan

Roger Wheelahan is the Managing Director of Smart Start Financial Services, offering comprehensive financial planning and advice. With over two decades in the financial services industry, he has held senior management roles at multiple financial organisations. Roger specialises in SMSF, buy-sell agreements, insurance and retirement planning and is also registered with the Tax Practitioners Board.

Steve Palise is a Sydney-based buyer’s agent and founder of Palise Property, specialising in both residential and commercial investments. He combines his engineering background with data-driven investment strategies and is the author of Commercial Property Investing Explained Simply. Rich Harvey is the CEO and founder of Property Buyer, a nation-wide buyer’s agency specialising in residential and commercial real estate. With over 20 years of industry experience, he is also an economist and former President of the Real Estate Buyers Agent Association of Australia. A frequent media commentator, Rich holds a Master of Economics and is a Qualified Property Investment Adviser.

Ashlee Zimmerle

Ashlee Zimmerle is a para-planner with a wide range of experience within the Financial Services industry. Having exposure to both boutique and outsource firms across a wide range of licensees, she understands the individual needs of every client.
